REALTOR® News, May 22, 2026: PDP course registration changing May 28

Starting the evening of May 28, GVR courses will be available through BCREA Access, making it easier to find, register, and complete your PDP requirements.

More courses in one place

BCREA Access brings all courses into one place, including both GVR and BCREA offerings. With improved filtering, you can quickly find courses by date, topic, or format.

Why are we moving our courses to BCREA Access?

The underlying technology behind our current Courses and Events Calendar is outdated. Moving to BCREA’s more modern system will help us improve the registration process for both you and our staff.

This is also the first step towards our goal of creating a unified provincial learning system, which will give you access to any course provided by real estate boards and associations in BC.

What to expect

On May 28, course registration will be unavailable for a period of time as our team works to transfer our courses from the old system to BCREA Access.

You will still be able to access courses you've already registered for on May 28.

After May 28, when you visit the Course Catalogue or Calendar pages, you’ll be directed to BCREA Access. You can also bookmark it for quicker access.

There will also be a few differences in course registration and attendance, for example:

  • Registration will be self-serve and completed online. Charge to account, and bill to Brokerage options will no longer be available

  • You’ll be able to access your course materials through BCREA Access

  • Zoom links will be available one hour before class

Initially, PDP hours may take longer to appear on your account, so we recommend you plan ahead and avoid any last-minute issues.

Event registration still available on GVR site

While our regular PDP courses will be moving to the new platform, event registration will still be on our GVR member website.
